She made her name on 42nd Street, but peepshow tokens weren’t involved. Instead, Kate Levering became a singing, dancing, acting sensation in 2001 with her lead role as Peggy Sawyer in the Broadway musical 42nd Street. She nabbed a win with the Astaire Award for Best Female Dancer on Broadway for the part, as well as a Tony Award nomination. Moving from New York City, she headed to Toronto, Canada, to play Veronica Carter from 2004-2005 on the surprise UPN hit Kevin Hill, starring Taye Diggs. She may have been all buttoned up in period costumes on Broadway, but on the little screen, she showed off her fab figure in various lingerie sets on the series. When the show ended, she headed to Los Angeles to keep up her on-camera career, where she made the rounds on primetime in CSI: Miami, Cold Case, Las Vegas, Close to Home, Medium, and Ghost Whisperer. Captivating Kate was cast as the recurring character Katherine Cutler on Cashmere Mafia in 2008, and in 2009, filmed her first full-length feature, playing Molly Campbell in Like Dandelion Dust (2009), with Mira Sorvino and Cole Hauser. In her second movie, she was the sexy siren Nina Layton in Breaking the Girls(2012), where she gets down to her cheek-baring panties and bra, and gets down on co-star Madeline Zima. In her biggest little-screen role, she mastered the part of Kim Kaswell in Drop Dead Diva, playing the character from 2009 all the way through 2014.
